She's lucky! I'm not allowed to take pics of delivery in my hospital!

Watching. I want pictures taken with this labor/birth

Before:The contraction monitor sheet/bp screen thing.
Her and her DH being all lovey(like maybe him rubbing her back or something like that)
Laughter & smiles (of anyone in the room)

Birth:
From the view of the mom the baby being held up.
Cutting the cord.
First looks and holding the baby.

As for editing, BW is perfect for labor photography

I know I hate it! All the hospitals in my area are like that! They say it's because of the doctors and nurses privacy. Like wtf?! I'm not taking pics of you, I want pics of me, my family and the baby during delivery.

Lol ikr! Where's my privacy when you're shoving your hand up my vag! Lol They have people staring at them for hours! Plus they're pics are on the hospital websites and their office sites!   it's so stupid.

i had my photographer friend in the room and she took pictures during all of my labor and delivery. i havent seen them yet, but she took a lot of the monitor showing my contractions, me and my belly with all the stuff hooked up. me and eion as he was helping me through contractions. she got some of me pushing (of ME not my vag) even though i pushed for all of 25 seconds. dr holding baby up, eion cutting the cord. our first reaction to seeing/holding him. she snapped pretty much anything she could, and then i get to go back and delete what i dont want.

well things went too rapidly after I posted this to get to see everyone's responses.

But thank you anyways! I took about 800 pictures. literally. and I've narrowed them down to 80 that I am editing in to BW.

So yea, I'm going to go look at a few of those links now, though, because I may be doing this again in the future
