unfortantly is is only accepted (around here) if your black and say it and if your white and say it oh hellll you better watch you back... i think its wrong... and sometime you'll catch a white boy/girl who thinks their black (i know we all know one) say it and it seems okay around there friends.. but not around others.. i mean personally i dont think any one should say it. I dont go around calling fellow white people cracker just because were white.. i thinks its wrong no matter who you are.. but sadly that not how everyone else thinks..

I think the word is absolutely disgusting no matter who uses it. It makes me sick hearing it.

I really don't think it's acceptable for anyone to use it, but I will admit that I am a bit more tolerant of hearing it among African Americans than Caucasians. Maybe because I'd automatically think to myself that it isn't meant to be used out of hate. =/

What I have heard from another black person who uses the word is, "I feel like we can say it to each other as a way to connect and show that...that word doesn't bother us anymore. We are over it, and it's a joke now." However, that to me is bull...because if it truly didn't bother you than a white person saying it would not offend you.

I think the word itself is just ridiculous and it sounds REALLY stupid when trashy wanna be white girls say it or use it on a daily basis. I hate when people use it to fit in or be funny....like....its not funny....

Lol, agreed! I always thought this when I heard a white girl say it and try to act tough or whatever.

I think so too. I have a girl on my FB that I went to school with and the only word out of her mouth seems to be "smurf this...blah blah." Its annoying. lol

I don't think it's ever acceptable.

It's a horrid, disgusting word and I don't think it's EVER okay to say it unless it's in an education setting (like To Kill a Mockingbird, like if reading a book like that out loud).
