Ist Christmas

My LO will only be at most a month and a half old at Christmas this year. My due date is actually Dec. 14th but my doctors are praying I make it to 36 weeks, which is in 10 days, because of the many complications I have had. I was just curious what other mommies got for their baby's first christmas if they were young like mine will be? Anything or nothing since they can't even open it or realize what it is?

DD was born 11-29-11. We didn't personally buy her anything but family members got her clothes and socks and hats and all that jazz. Too young to buy for in my opinion, this year our budget for her birthday and Christmas is $250.

I'm due the 18th, so she may/may not be here, and i don't really plan on getting her anything since she'll be so little

Thanks ladies. That is what I figured seeing as to how I've been on bed rest so finances have been tight anyway but I wanted to make sure that I wasn't being mean or anything.

My baby is due November 29th. My boyfriend's work had to shut down for 2 weeks this month so money will be a little tight this christmas. We had already decided before we found out that they would be shutting down for these two weeks that if we did do christmas presents that we would each get our baby something small. We figure that he will be spoiled enough by my family, and even if he is not he won't remember christmas as he will be roughly a month old.

I feel a lot better now knowing I'm not the only one struggling...I just want my little girl to know how much I love her...but I can do that by spoiling her with my love!

I am just struggling with pregnancy anyway...I have had multiple complications...spent more time in the hospital than out this past month...I was the breadwinner and now all I can do is lay in bed and pray today will be a good day and that my LO will stay in for another day....I want her to know how precious she is to my husband and I but it hasn't been an easy road...and then I feel bad for complaining because I know there are women who have had worse pregnancies or can't even have a baby and would love to be in my shoes...I'm just having a rough day...thanks for listening ladies!

'm having a c-section on the 18 so DS will be one week on Christmas. I just got him a baby's first ornament. he wont know what is goign on.
