How does this new sizing with baby clothes work?

When LO was a baby it was 0-3 months, 3-6 months, ect......

Now it's just newborn, 3 months, 6 months, ect......

it's depends on the brand. a lot of brands are still sized in a range. Some brands like Gerber run ridiculously small, some brands like garanimals run big.....

I don't know but... My daughter is 2 months old, 10lb 4oz and she fits in 3 month clothes if that helps? I know it probably doesn't. But it confuses the hell out of me too

I don't pay attention to baby clothes sizes. My LO wears what fits. He's 5 months (tomorrow) and some things he's 3 months, other things he's 6-9 months, or even 6-12 months. Going by what the tag says is stressful. So many items he didn't get to wear, because he "wasn't old enough yet"
