Workout clothes.

posted 6th Nov
Do you feel better about yourself when you have cute workout clothes, or does it not make any difference?

I'm pretty big and I just started working out yesterday at home, but I plan on going walking and progressing to jogging/running soon. I don't have any "workout" clothes...I just wear basketball shorts and an old shirt.
I have this idea that maybe if I buy myself some cute jogging capris or something, I'll feel more like working out.

IDK. Does this even make any sense?

Also, what do YOU workout in? Post pics if you can. I'm totally new to this whole healthy thing

I think having cute workout clothes definitley makes working out seem more appealing. I just wear trackies and an old baggy t shirt, but thats in my lounge, if I were to be going to a gym or somewhere with other people I would invest in cute clothes

Yes, it makes a huge difference. I like to work out in tight clothing. Baggy stuff makes me feel frumpy.

Clothes don't really matter but I do feel better when I have cute running shoes.

I found that the basketball shorts were hard to move in too...
I guess I'll get some yoga pants or something

But baggy stuff hides the jiggly bits!

It's best wear as little clothing as possible or work out clothes that absorb sweat.

Then definitely buy some cute shorts/jogging capris, if it's cold maybe a cute sporty zip up?

i wear sporty tights and a loose singlet with a cute sports bra underneath. I do not spend lots i think i got the pants for $25, top for like $3 from a thrift shop n the bra for $12 . I do like to feel nice but also comfy when working out.

It's definitely been cold here lately. It's only 46 right now lmao.
Crazy to think a couple weeks ago it was in the 70s.

Thanks everyone!
