I was extremely early 4wks5dys and my levels were 4000 and went up to 7000 but there was nothing to see either. The dr prepared me for cancer, another abnormal pregnancy that would need a d&c but he held out for a week after my levels went up and then we were able to see a heartbeat, fetal pole, and yolk sac at 5wks6dys. Your levels could be wonky is all and baby hasn't caught up to where it "should" be yet, mine is 10wks now and we just saw it wiggling around all over the screen positive thoughts mama!!
yes i went through that before i have 4 miscarriages and my last one was like that my levels were there but the sack wasnt....maybe the sac didn't connect to you wall that is what happen to me.

You'd be about 4-5wks since there's a gestational sac at least assuming everything is developing normally. Hb and fetal poles aren't normally seen until 6wks. I think yolk sacs are at about 5wks. But imo- ER's suck at u/s stuff and scare women more than help them. Rest and relax as much as you can in the meantime. Do you know when you got a positive on the HPT? It might help narrow it down but since your levels are a bit high it might not help at all. Sorry wish I could help more or tell you it's all ok... fingers crossed for you though!!
