Finally!

I got my period Sunday, called Monday, and I have a birth control appointment today! Woooo to the hoooo!
I'm definitely not getting back on the depo shot or the pill, I'm leaning towards the Nexplannon.
I'm just excited that we don't have to use condoms anymore lol.

I hadn't either, until my friend said something about it.
Apparently it goes in your arm and is good for 5 years.
I'm definitely going to get more information when I get up there though.

Oh ok so its like Implanon?
I would be horrified to do that.
Paragard was amazing though.

Nexplanon is that new name for the Implanon.

OP- Just so you know if you had bad problems with the Depo you may with the Nexplanon too. My midwife suggested only getting it because I didn't have any bad side effects with the Depo. Otherwise she recommends girls not getting it if they hated the Depo.

It's not that I had problems/hated the depo. I just wanted something long-term instead of having to go back every 3 months.
But, I decided to go with the Mirena instead. I won't be able to get it until my next period though. Stupid condoms. Lol.
