I just wanted to do a poll to see how most of you feel about the name Joel. Most of my family doesn't like it. I don't really give a smurf, but I'm just curious to see how others feel about it.

How are YOU pronouncing it?

For girl or boy? I know both. I like it for boy

I guess technically she pronounced it Joelle but spelled it Joel

It's for a boy. I've only heard it pronounced one way, so..... lol.

I like it. Not not fav name but its not terrible

It's my brother's name. Not very common!

I've never known a Joel personally.  

I like it a lot! I'm pretty picky about names, but that's one of the few names I'd personally use.

lol I think that is the Hispanic way of saying it. I went to School with a guy who said his name Ho-el,
my cousin is Joel. said the "white" way. lol
