Testing with a ovulation test

Im supposed to start today and only have an ovulation test until my DS wakes from his nap. What you ya'll think??

Hm..the test line is supposed to be darker than the control I think but that looks close!

Looks promising! That definitely looks positive to me, and if you're supposed to start today it's pretty likely that you're not ovulating.   Good luck and baby dust!!

She's using it as a pregnancy test, not an ovulation test.

Ignore that, I read your post wrong lol.
There's really no way to tell without a PT but I'd say your chances are high

Ladies, she is asking if this test would be considered positive for PREGNANCY and since it's an OPK, no it would not.

OP, you need a pregnancy test.

I know, I read it wrong  

OPK's test for LH, while pregnancy tests test for hCG. But, they're essentially the same hormone, except hCG has a little something extra. So, if you know you're not ovulating and the line is showing that clearly, chances are you are pregnant. But get another when DS wakes up, just to be sure.

This is not true. I have seen plenty of women get a positive OPK when their period was due and they were NOT pregnant.

Then they were ovulating. LH shows when you ovulate, hCG when you are pregnant. The line on an OPK will show for either of those, so all I was saying is if she is sure she's not ovulating, she's probably pregnant. I never said anything was for sure and that she should get another test.

So did you test??

I tested with same ovulation tests and got strong positives. And got negative hpt   but I hope this is wrong for you and you get a bfp
