6 wk apt

so got my 6 week pp apt today, cant remember what all happens at it... but i plan on getting depo & hope i dont get same experience with it as last time. I think I am on my first after baby period started sunday ..

has anyones first period been really heavy ?
& what all happens at the apt?

Basically the doctor just checks to make sure you're healing correctly.
My first PP period was extremely light and so have my last 2. But my PP bleeding was also really really light.
