Yay induction day

Extremely happy my doctor decided that next tuesday will be baby day...I have been in so much pain with my hips its not funny ....so excited to see her lil face..

so your being induced a week early because your in a bit of pain? thats pregnancy for you

I am getting induced next Tuesday as well I go in at 2 pm. Not because of pain though for other reasons.

Why are you getting induced for hip pain? It a normal part of pregnancy, my hips hurt so bad the last few weeks SO had to lift me outta bed sometimes   it's sucks so I feel your pain!

Your right you are entitled. But it is only 6 days before her due date that's not really that bad.

How so?

I agree that inducing for no reason other than hip pain is wrong IMO. But its not like she said that's the only reason her doctor is inducing her. She just said she was relieved.

Since due dates can be off as much as two weeks, it is kind of that bad. If that happened to be the case, she'd be forcing her baby out at 37 weeks gestation - definitely not full term.

So does it make me selfish that i'm having a planned c-section 2 weeks before my due date?

Is it medically necessary for you/your child's health? If so, no.

In my case there is a need for it, 1 it's a twin pregnancy and 2 the leading twin is breech. But would have asked for a planned section even if the lead twin was head down as had a c-section with my daughter and felt more at easy with that option than trying a VBAC.

Point i was trying to make is that you don't know all of the details, it might be necessary for her to be induced 6 days early and she just wanted to say how glad she'd be at not having the hip pain anymore because for her the worst part of her pregnancy.

I know how she feels i've had pressure in my pelvis since 30wks and I will be 38wks on fri and that has been the worst part for me personally.
