Worse treatment for cradle cap ever!

posted 6th Nov
Last night I used Gentle Naturals cradle cap treatment for Blake's cradle cap = AWFUL  Smells horrible even after 2 shampoos, it's like tar stuck in his hair. And it was right back this morning. Total waste. Doc today told me to use hydrocortisone 1% so we shall see how that works! Just wanted to share.

We just used baby oil and massaged his scalp with a soft toothbrush. Worked great for us.

I always just used a baby brush and comb with baby oil on my daughter. put the oil on her scalp ( she has/had a TON of hair) used the brush and comb to gently rub off the flakes and then washed her hair 3 times. I only had to do that twice.

we used that and it didn't do that to them, but didn't work either.. We use the brush from it to rub off some of the scales and then put baby oil on after wards and it's almost gone

When it gets really bad it is hard to treat with out hydrcortizone cream. We actually had to use the stronger stuff for my oldest. That gentle natural stuff did nothing!

I just used baby oil...id put it on a couple hours before a bath and wipe it gently with a cloth in the bath. Make sure not pick it off though, whatever comes off when you just wipe it normally. And sometimes at night i cover it in oil and let it soak all through the night...usaully after a few days of doing this everyday it clears up!

I do like the brush that came with it lol but I've tried baby oil and it comes right back so we're going to try to hydrocortisone now

Our doc recommends using it for the initial cleaning of it, and then using the other natural stuff as a preventative cleaning. Make sense?
