Why not look into Depo? That is the 3 month shot.

even thoe you are a minor you have the right to decide whats put in your body and whats not. i understand your mom wanting you on something a lil bit more long term, since you are young, but its still not her choice.

Yeah i know and i cant even take my child to his doctor appointment without of mom. They said you have to be 18 to go by your self!

I dont want that a lot of my firends and family got on that and it made them gain a ton of weight and gave them bad periods.

All BC has side effects. Depo could be perfect for you

well its not my doctors fault about the age thing its the nurses there. They told me and my childs doctor is a close family firends. He said i really dont have too bring her but just in case because he can get into trouble. But im just going to get the arm birth control to make everyone happy. Everyone in my family thinks i got pregnant on purpose so thats probley why there trying to make me get on something that i cant take out i guess.

You do know that the Implanon/Nexplanon has the EXACT same side effects as the shot right? My doctor suggested the Implanon since I did so well on the Depo.

Don't do anything to satify other people. Especially when it comes on putting chemicals in yoiur body.

Also, everyone that i know that had Implanon gained a large amount of weight and had terrible bleeding problems

You don't what will work for you until you try it.

All hormonal BC can cause weight gain, It could be 3-5 lbs or 40 lbs. They ALL have side effects

And you can get the Implanon taken out

You just have to try and see what fits best for YOU

I gained weight with the Depo but honestly you couldn't tell because it really wasn't that much. But its the same thing with all hormonal birth controls. Do whats best for you. Smurf what your family and doctor want.

Ill try it and hopefully it will work good. I was on the pill for a year and i didnt gain any weight or bleed heavy so hopefully this new bc wont do that either and thanks your the advice

Just some friendly adult advice  
Implanon/Nexplanon is the best bc you can get, Your parents and doctor are very smart for recommending it. It last 5 years and you can get it removed when your ready for children again. I understand your why your parents want you on long term bc. Being is how you are so young and already have a young child. They are just looking out for you and your childs best interest.   Good Luck with everything, Young Miss.
