Since I found out I was pregnant I was kknda still in disbelief. I was like, whatever..ya know? Like.. Everything will be okay.! But as I was laying in bed last night, it hit me. I'm pregnant. & there's no way out. I'm so scared.

Be scared.... it's a scary thing. But know that if you do everything in your power to put your baby first and ask for help when you need it, you should be okay. It's never easy. I'm 34 and pregnant again, and I'm scared too.

You do have options so don't think there's no way out. Is your family and the father of the child supportive? Becoming a mother for the first time can be frightening! good luck

I'm 22 weeks and it still doesn't feel real to me. Even though I've heard the heartbeat, had ultrasounds, and felt movement....

But it's normal to be scared. I'm still scared and nervous.

There are ways out. You do not have to be pregnant or be a parent if you are not ready. Have you talked to your mom yet? Hopefully you have a good support system for whatever you decide or have decided.

And OP... I'm sorry, there are other options... you do not have to do this if you are not ready. Keep in mind what would be best for you/baby. If you decide to keep baby, it wont be a walk in the park... it'll be the hardest thing you ever do, but it will work itself out.

I was soooooo terrified that when I got home from the hospital I CRIED more like bawled my eyes out like a baby. I didn't have the comfort of the doctors being there, I was so on edge didn't think I would know what to do. But it got easier, I realized that my mother instincts finally kicked in and I caught on how to do things somewhat quick.

I was 18 when I got pregnant with my first, I cried and cried and cried .. until I got an ultrasound I didn't believe it. But, once I saw my baby my whole mind changed. I was less scared, more excited. I was more scared of labor and if I'd be a good mom. I had contractions for days, and still did it all without an epidural. Best thing to think of, your body is made for this, and you're never dealt with more than you can handle  .

it can be done! but it won't be easy. i was 16 when i got pregnant with my first.....she is now 12 and the most beautiful, amazing, lovely girl in the entire world. i felt the exact same way as you do. so scared. i thought about abortion and adoption too but that's not something i could do. and i'm so glad i didn't. she and i "grew up" together almost. it's a tough decision and a tough time (for a long time) but it is so worth it.

I'm not a teenage mom but I agree with what you said. Pregnancy was hard for me because my doctor didn't think I could get pregnant & if I did they didn't think it would develop full-term. But yeah, when you hear that heartbeat & see your LO on the ultrasound the world stops & all of a sudden nothing else matters. Pregnancy can be scary but that precious life you're carrying isn't the end of the world but the start of a new & crazy adventure. Trust me, when you hold your child for the first time, everything will have seemed worth it. Just tough out the pregnancy part & you'll see. I wouldn't want to be a teen mom just because things are hard enough w/o adding a baby to it but if that's what happened, get a good support group going & try to remember you're not the first girl to go through this & as long as you love that baby, you'll do what has to be done to provide for your LO. Good luck.
