my daugher will be 3 in feb and is beyond excited. I just started by telling her over and over this is a new baby sister in my tummy.
we act excited and she gets excited haha, I let her feel kicks, and she kisses and hugs my belly and we talk about how she gets to be mommys big helper.
I also got her a big sister book, and let her pick out a cpl things for the baby at the store.
My midwife is great too, she includes her in the appts, lets her wipe the doppler goop off my belly, and squish mommies belly to feel where the baby is..
she also knows that the baby will eat from mommys boobies like she did up until a month ago. and shes excited to "share"
shes really clingy with me, so Im trying really hard to make sure shes not going to be too jealous and know whats coming.

My midwife is awesome too.. My son gets to lay down next to me and last time I had to get an ultrasound she let him try to find the baby.
.. But beyond that I really think he has no idea what is going on.It may get a little more real once I get bigger and he can feel/see the baby in my tummy. On that note, I have no idea what I am getting myself into with two kids lol I guess we will be just jump in head first
