You just described Mya exactly. Her eyelids killed me.   And every time I had to unwrap her arm to show a curios family member her fingers, I wanted to cry because of her skin.  

I hate that I didn't put a hat on her.

I would ask. They know that momma's have questions about their angels that they don't even think so ask until later because of the shock they are in.

Even though they weren't there and didn't deliver her? I want to ask about the seizure-feeling she made the last few days she was alive, too.. but feel like they wouldn't be able to answer any of my questions.

Yeah, just ask them what can cause a stillborns nose to have blood come out and ask about that too. THey might not know for sure (even the doc that was there) but they might give you an idea of why.

I might bring it up.

my son had already been gone for close to 72 hours before I delivered him. He was purple and his skin was coming off on side of his face. We held him and took pics in certain ways. The lady from now I lay me down to sleep did some great pictures in a grayish color photos so he didn't look so off color. We got 8 rolls of film of my husband and I holding him just craddling him. Thinking about it makes me want to cry.

I didnt read the whole thing only your question and yess our daughter have stuff continously come out of her nose, blood and what looked to be other stuff kinda all mixed together. I wiped it then it was good for a short bit then had to do it again

When my partner stroked our angel babys nose blood came out  .
And it also looked like he had blood in his mouth too x

I hate that I am responding so late to this as to have to bring the whole situation up again. I am truly very sorry for your loss. As a mom who has had to say goodbye to two of my boys, I can say that I understand how you are feeling and my heart is breaking for you. As for the blood, after a baby, or person passed, your blood does not clot anymore. If for any reason, there was trauma during delivery or a pocket of blood in the nose, it will in fact bleed because the body will not clot as it is meant to do. This doesn't necessarily mean there was something else wrong, just that blood may have been sitting in the nose or ears. My second son passed away after he had a very intrusive surgery. We could not stop the bleeding from his incision site either.

i know this is old but i wanted to say, that certain organizations will photoshop your pictures for you and make them look more "appealing" as someone said, so that you can hang them on your wall and not be concerned about others reactions (not that i think you shouldnt hang them and be proud of them regardless, im just saying it was said in this thread). they look quite nice, i cant for the life of me remmeber who right now but some quick googling might turn something up. im at work rightn ow so cant google   my friend had a stillborn and she did look quite like a sleeping baby, but she had died that day, and as the pictures progressed she did look more dead.
