re: Do you sing to your kids?

I never do. I can't sing worth smurf so I don't.

If you were just singing to yourself then people may think you were a bit odd but your kid is there! I'm sure most people understand.  

I am always singing to my little one and she is a singer as well. She loves to sing with me. I have been singing for her since i was pregnant. I find it a little shocking that none of your friends sing at all to their kids. Not even bed time songs? My LO is 4 and she gets to pick 3 songs every night that i will sing for her. She loves it and wont go to sleep until we sing. some of the sings we sing are

hush little baby
twinkle twinkle
somewhere over the rainbow
you are my sunshine
An Irish Lullaby
If i had words (my favorite)
Nelly The Elephant

That's just some of the bed time songs. There are a bunch of other songs we sing all day.

I don't sing to them unless you count like ABC's or something, But Not like okay its bed time read a story and have a song kinda thing. We sing almost daily, but I don't sing to them, I sing with them.

Adina doesn't let me sing kid songs to her (except You Are My Sunshine), it's strange lol. her favorites are God Gave Me You, Siuil A Run, We can Fly Away (Emma Townshend), A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes, Etc....I hate the weird looks I get lol, but then again, I guess it's better than hearing Adina scream bloody murder lol
