IVF Question

Plain and simple how do they transfer the fertilised eggs and does it hurt?

I would assume so. I had a top of pain when Mirena was put it, so I'd think this would be more painful if you're not given any drugs to cope.

The actual procedure itself (egg retrieval) is pretty painless. They usually use twilight sedation so you're pretty out of it. Afterwards can be pretty painful because of all the fluid from the ovaries.

Hello I have a question me and my husband just did micro IVF with 2 egg transferred my first beta was 3.6 11 days post egg retrieval and my Doctor said he would like my second beta day 15 post egg retrieval to be 14 I just got the call and my HCG was 10.4 is this good? I'm not sure how to read HCG because I see a lot of girls saying 306 in stead of 3.6 does it mean the same thing?

That is very, very low but it does not yet rule you out completely. Was it a 3 day or 5 day transfer?
