I think I ate bad meat...

Well I made the pot roast and I noticed it tasted funky, I only had a bite which was kinda big and I went back to look at the date it was packaged it said October 6th, I couldn't find a expiration date on it though. Now my stomach kind of hurts, so I was wondering could that little bite make me really sick or should I be ok?

it could prob give you cramps or the rhea or maybe make you throw up... But not like really sick or anything since you just ate one bite... good thing you didn't eat more!

meat is fine as long as you freeze it first. im assuming it wasnt ewe that sucks.

Yea, it wasn't freezed. I got the meat yesterday at the grocery store. :\

Seems like meat that old would have turned brown before you even cooked it...

Nope, but it was only in the fridge over night. I bought it yesterday at the store.

You know when I opened the package, I thought something was off about the color but I didn't know if it was my eyes playing tricks on me or what.

id dig it out meat isnt cheap and they die it red so it looks fresh

Oh I know!! I will try to get it out.  

Meat has preservatives in it that keeps the color longer, even if the meat is going bad, so it looks good sometimes even if it isn't. Hope you don't get sick from it.
