What can she expect?

Hey ladies my best friend delievered her baby yesterday at 26 wks, he is 1 lbs 12 oz 14" long, He is at one of the best hospitals around our area, They say he is doing really well and is on very little oxygen, and wants to try to breath on his own. Has anyone delievered on here that early and had great out comes? what are some things she can expect?

My good friend delivered at 24w even. Her baby was 15 oz. She was born in June- she came home last month, and is over 7 lbs. She was intubated for several weeks. Right before she came home, they gave her a g-tube because she has trouble breathing while eating. She's doing really well though.

AWw thats great, They say he is doing really well. I got to see him yesterday before they transported him and he had amazing color, and he was moving alot, even his little fingers and toes!

The mom is Samantha Gore, and Cooks is a really good hospital

It is an amazing hospital my daughter spent a week there.

I hope so too. I cant imagine what they are all going through It was so hard for me not to ball my eyes out when I saw Jax yesterday but I knew I had to be strong for her. She is my very best friend was there with me when I had both of my kids...

The earliest I personally know was 33 weeks he was in the hospital a month and was let home I will keep him in my prayers tho!!!

A lady i know was due around me in December, not sure exactly when, but she had her baby three weeks ago at 20 some weeks, and he'll be out of the hospital in 3 days.
