Nolan was 14oz when he was born in July. He is already 4.4 pounds and this month is his due date month. So just try and stay positive for her, that's what everyone did for Nolan and Sam

Oh wow thats amazing, They had told her that he would be in there for atleast 4 months but this afternoon they said it could be less then that, Hes a stong little boy..

Well Jaxson was born at 1lb 12oz, and his due date was in feb.. We are staying strong and praying for him.. She deserves so much to be a mommy and this is a special little boy his is going to make everyday worth while for his mommy!

Yeah, he's getting big, already up to like 5 pounds.

I jst recieved an update on little jaxson, he had a bit of a rough night his lung collapsed they had to put a chest tube in to fix it and it helped then they gave him mess then his stats dropped they gave him CPR they got him back to where he was and he has been doing so good or the past few hours !

My cousin was born at 24 weeks 21 years ago. She was 1.5lbs, as long as a pair of doctors' scissors, and black when she was born. The doctors said that she would be slow because of how early she was born and would be mute because of the breathing tubes damaging her vocal cords, if she even survived. She is now in university and has been for the last 3 years and she can talk, her voice is just a little raspy. We are praying for the little one.

My son was not at all that early but he was born at 34 weeks with lots of probelms. I saw that he is at Cooks Childrens. Thats where my son was and always goes when hes sick, its really the best place! I always trust them!

My son was born at 25weeks and 4days. He weighed 1lb13.5oz. He had no serious complications.He had a level 1 brain bleed recorded at day 3 of life and it was gone by day 5. He had 3 blood transfusions but that was because they were doing blood gases on him every three hours because of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) and he wasn't replenishing as fast as they were taking for that and other tests. He had mild retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) which resloved on its own. No hearing issues. He has some muscle tone issues (tightness) but he has early intervention occupational therapy for that. Finally a small heart murmur that docs said will not affect him at all but i plan to take him to a cardiologist when he gets older just to make sure, especially when he starts playing sports.

That's awful what happened? My twins were 1lb 3oz and 3lb 1oz at 28w..
