Anxiety.

I've lost a significant amount of weight. Honestly, most it was due to an eating disorder. I was depressed, so I didn't eat. And once the depression was done with, my appetite just stayed away.

Now that I'm with SO... I've gotten way too comfortable with my eating habits. I got down to 190 lbs, and I just got on the scale and I'm at 208. This is NOT okay. And honestly... I just don't like most healthy foods. All of that rice and vegetables that people talk about eating... not gonna happen. I do eat some vegetables, but nothing like broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, etc. I know I'm gaining the weight back because I'm eating bad at work. I try not to... but I get hungry, and then I get cranky. So I end up getting a small bag of chips.

I don't have time to go run or exercise all the time. I work crazy schedules, so I sleep a lot because my sleep schedule is smurfed. And on my days off, SO and I are out running errands all day. I don't want to go back to not eating.... but it's looking so. so. SO tempting

You do not look like you're over 200 lbs! Try eating smaller meals through out the day.... and bring snacks to work instead of buying those bags of chips. Little things like that add up!!

I'm sorry, Sam. I know you work a crazy schedule AND at a ice cream store ( seriously if it were me I'd be 400lbs if I worked there lol).

Have you ever just tried cutting out sugary drinks and little things like that? Maybe count calories? I've heard good things about myfitnesspal.com.

Best of luck!

Don't go back to not eating hun, it'll mess up your metabolism... so that the times you eat normally, you'll gain tons of weight.

It's hard to eat throughout the day. I work two days a week, and three nights a week. Day shift is 4am-noon. Night shift is 5pm-1am. And during night shift, I'm not up front all the time... I'm usually running my ass off doing a lot of things in the cooler and hardening room. Not to mention, we don't get breaks. So I can't cook a small meal or reheat something I brought, and take 10 minutes to eat. I can get a bite here and there... that's it

I think I'm gonna try cutting out pop. It's ALL I drink at work, and most of the time at home.

Honestly I don't like most healthy stuff either but I'm learning to eat it anyway because it IS better for your body and I don't want to be completely unhealthy and cancer ridden because of my food choices right now, you know? Veggies aren't THAT bad tasting...their texture is smurfed but if you can get past that then you're golden.
But take small snacks to work. That's what I started doing. Or instead of chips, get a tube of nuts or sunflower seeds. I work at a gas station too and I ate so well before I started working there and it seemed like my only food options were hot dogs or Taco Bell but seriously, just make a bigger meal at night and then take leftovers, or buy a box of granola bars [even if they're chocolate chip] and take some to work every day. Take one a day vitamins along with your prenatals. Cut out a soda a week [which is killing me!] You look good but being healthy is key.

Oddly enough, it helped me. I dropped 70 lbs doing that :/

Thank you! This helped a ton. I'm not a fan of nuts... but I can stomach 'em if it means it's gonna help the weight. And any kind of granola bar works for me. Most of them have a sweet taste, regardless of what's in 'em. So I can get past that

Definitely cutting down on the pop!

How about just not eating bad stuff? If you can just NOT EAT hen why not say NO to the chips and eat like an apple? You much like some stuff that is healthy.

A great way to get some exercise when you are busy is to do little things like park far from the place you are going or take stairs or do little games like squats while brushing your teeth. All those little things add up.

You only gained 18 lbs... that is not much you can get that off quick with just a little work. I know you can. Good luck!

I have been doing all this stuff and lost a good amount so I know you can too

The exercise is a good idea too! When I was on my workout kick I'd do squats and knee lifts and sit ups while watching TV or a movie. Now at school I take the stairs instead of the elevator and at work I park far away and try to do as many rounds of the store as possible and do lot sweeps so I'm getting fresh air and walking around getting the blood flowing.

Because I can't eat at just one sitting -- I don't get a break at work. So I have to take a bite here and there. Fruits end up browning fairly quickly, so I'd end up tossing it out and still being hungry (I do eat a banana with some peanut butter at work sometimes if we're slow). The bag of chips... or peanut butter crackers, or the little roll of cookies is so much easier. They don't spoil as fast :/

Yes... it's only 18 lbs. But, it's 18 lbs in less than 3 months. We moved into our apartment at the end of August, and I weighed close to 190. I don't know what's going on... I don't think I'm eating TOO bad. Just not healthy. Idk. This sucks. I was so happy with my progress, and now I'm going back into what I was... and I never wanted to be that person again.

I'll try the little exercises when I'm at home. I can't really do anything that puts pressure on my tailbone, though (sit ups for example) because I have a pilonidal cyst that comes back any time I put too much pressure right there
