sex after c-section

I had a C-sec two weeks ago. My pain is gone and am having very little discomfort. I know that you are suppose to wait 6 weeks but that sucks. I am planning on getting a IUD when I can but it maybe at weeks 7 or 8. I have a Nuva ring, and I know that it has to be in place for a week to start working. I was just wondering if I can use it before week 6. And when did other mommas start having sex after a C-sec. Thanks ladies.

i don't think so, since you have to wait 6 weeks before anything enters the vagina. not 100% as i've always used depo. As for the other question, i had a csection and waited 6 weeks.

We waited 2 weeks and used condoms.

Yeah.. I wouldn't. There is still chance of infection. It hurt me really bad trying after my c-section, so we didn't try again for a loooooong time.

I had sex about 5 weeks after my c-section. It was too painful, couldn't do it.  

Tried again a week later - much better success!

I waited 6 weeks with my first and 2 weeks with this one

All three of mine were c-sections. First one took 8 weeks (got pregnant when she was 4 months old too, unplanned) second took 4 weeks and this last one took a week, two tops.

We made it almost 6 months   Tell me it gets easier being pregnant with an infant?

It definitely had its days but it does get easier. I had a lot of energy from about 25-26 weeks on. The hassle is having a toddler and a newborn because the first few weeks for me were hell. Madyson was so jealous for the first two weeks and was SO mean to MacKenzie. It was awful. But it passed and now they're inseparable...and yet, fight like sisters lmao  

I had a C-sec and I only waited two weeks to have sex but my doctor did tell me not to have sex for six weeks, but i wasn't hurting or anything I have the shot now but at the time we only used condoms

I had a c-section. My husband and I waited about 4 weeks... I just really didn't want to wait any longer. He was a little worried it would hurt me at first, but I didn't have any pain at all.
