Congestion

posted 5th Nov
My 18 month old had a cold a little over a week ago. She's been better for about 2 or 3 days now. Last night she went to bed fine and about two hours later she woke up and sounded horrible. It was like a croupy sound but in here chest. I hear it when she is crying, laughing, or screaming. She's breathing normal and it doesn't seem like anything is bothering her. It's just a little odd how fast it came on. I'm calling the doctor in the morning but they aren't that great at times.

I would do a walk in. My son was the same way around 2 and he had asthma. his cough would linger for about 2 weeks and sound like a smokers cough. he was very congested and just miserable. always wanted to be held. This may not be the case with you but you should take her in.

Last night was a very bad. I don't think she slept much. It just seems so weird that you can't hear it when she is breathing normal. With this crazy weather it probably isn't helping.

I completely understand. My son always have issues when the weather changes. I just haad him out of school last week because he was coughing so much. Thats the only time he needs his pump though. I hope it isn't the same with your baby girl. It can be such a nuisance

Thank you. I'm keeping an eye on her night. SHe was breathing a little heavily. I'm calling the doctor first thing in the morning.
