Honesty, it sucked!! I have a high tolerance for pain, and as soon as I woke up I was in pain. I had 3 shots in the recovery room, then one shot of morphine once I was back in my room + a vicodin. I regretted not having it done after birth where they go through your belly button, I hear thats easier than having a bigger incision. First few days of recovery I was so sore and could barely move.

That being said, once I hit a week I was feeling great! If I had the choice to go back and do it again, I would still go ahead with it. Good luck!!

It seriously goes by so quickly. I've had surgery twice and both times they gave me an anti-anxiety before. Then they give you an IV... and you literally just go to sleep. You actually feel pretty calm and peaceful. When you wake up, you'll feel groggy, but that's the worst of it. The pain meds will be awesome, just remember that.
