What would you do in this situation: Your daughter / or sons girlfriend is pregnant, they decided to do adoption. How would you feel and what would you do?

I would support it if it's something that she really wanted to do.

Definitely support that decision, especially if it means a better life for the unborn.

It would be hard no matter what, but ultimately I would do my best to support whatever decision they felt was best

Support them, regardless of how I felt. It may break my heart, but it's not my choice. I'd have to stand by them in support.

it's their decision. i'd obviously support them, no matter their choice

Support them. I would probably feel relieved TBH if they were teenagers.

I would try my hardest to have the baby kept in the family but I wouldn't try to force anything on her. It's not my decision to make.

As long as they are fully confident in their decision I would support them. If they were having doubts, I would try to help them work through those doubts, but I wouldn't try to influence their decisions.

I'd ask them if they would let me adopt the baby. That way, the financial burden and total responsibility is off them, but they can still see their baby. And the baby will stay in the family. If they didn't want to do that.... I'd still support them adopting the baby out to a different family.

Because I couldn't imagine someone else raising my grandchild. Not to mention... if they chose a closed adoption, they might spend years trying to find us... and I just... don't want that.

I say I would support the decision. I think it would be hard to cope with, but my child needs my support because it's probably a million times harder on them.
