After c section question

I have had 2 c sections one march 2009 and the second may 2011.. I have been getting random numb feelings from my scar and travels up to my belly button.. Does anyone know what this could be?

I had the same issue with both of my c-sections and my doctor told me it was probably just nerve damage that was trying to heal.

Is there any thing i can do for it?

My doctor didnt tell me anything but it did go away it just took some time but even now I can pinch the skin around my scar and I dont feel anything. I would talk to your doctor tho if it bothers you that much.

I have an appt next week. I am going to talk to him then. It doesn't hurt it's more annoying than anything. Thank you

I am 9 weeks pp and I still have an area that is numb. Even after my first c-section the area above my scar never fully regained feeling and that one was done in 2006.

My first kid I had her naturally. This time a round I'm having a c section due to bad back issues. I'm terrified of needles and having one put in my back. Do they give you something in your IV to make you relax before the shot in your back? I'm am so afraid.

No they didnt with me but they did give a numbing shot to me in the place where I was getting my spinal block and the needle they used for me was like a diabetic needle and it felt like they pinched me and I never had to see the big needle or even know it was going in. But if your still worried about it your doctor might be able to work something out for you. Hope this helps

i have no idea what it is but my scar and lower belly is completly numb all the time. i'm 9 weeks pp, was hoping it'd go away! lol. x
