She said besides me being fat i am perfect candidate. She is pro vbac. She was the one who delivered my first

I was never given pitocin. I know i can't be induced. She said she would let me go to 41w if no other complications.

I had cervidil. They artificially streched me to a 3 to break my water to put an internal heart monitor in her. I got an epi and she flat lined....


So imo for MYSELF im now very anti epi....

Wtf? Weight shouldn't have much if anything to do w it. That was rude of her to say... If u want another chance at breast feeding better a vbac won't guarantee it but usually u get to bond quicker than the csect. Read up on the I-CAN network bout vbac n policy n see if its for u.

Well she didn't say that lol. But In the booklet she gave me it listed the things can can set u back. One was obesity. So I'm assuming that was it.

She and i have discussed it and all "negitive" she told me was not to base it off of wanting to bf

It sounds like you'd do really well with the VBAC! As frightening as the same problems reoccurring would be (I can only imagine the nightmare that was for you), if you're not induced this time around, I imagine everything will go smoothly. The worst case scenario, is you have a repeat c-section.. so I don't see why not try for it.

As for breastfeeding after c-section.. it may be trickier, but it can be done! I had to have my baby latch on almost 24/7 for TEN days before my milk finally came, but I was able to breastfeed post c-section for just about two years.
