ttc for a year what else can i do

okay i have been trying to get pregnant since December of last year and i just want some succeeded stories you guys can give me?

If it's been over a year it's time to see a specialist.

It took me well over a year for both my babies. I used OPK's, took a prenatal, Vitamin B6 and a baby aspirin as well as progesterone cream.

It took us exactly 2 years to conceive. I had actually given up all together, got a new job, went back to the psychiatrist to get medicine back, lost 15lbs (which is what I credit) and not even 2 months after I decided to go back to my life... I was pregnant lol]

We weren't charting or temping or using anything other than CM to know when was a good time.

OH THAT SUCKS...i am now getting depressed i am already depressed as it is...and thinking i am bi polar....and stressed out...

You need to get your mental health in check before you continue to TTC.

first of all i am not mentally ill... im on pills for my depression.....kids just drive ya crazy and my son has adhd....

I find too many people are running to fertility specialists and fertility drugs and treatments way too soon.
It took me over a year to get pregnant but we just kept trying. My advice is to start your prenatal vitamins also have your SO get some vitamins too (that's what we did, it definitely can't hurt) Also, its very important to track your cycle and pin point the 4 best days to have sex. Most of all be patient, don't stress about it, I know its disappointing to see the negative sign on the pregnancy test month after month but if you do the stuff that I mentioned above it will happen. It did for us as we now have a beautiful 9 month old daughter  
If it would make you feel better you can see a OBGYN just to make sure everything is in tip top shape but I really wouldn't start any fertility treatments. Hope this helps. Good luck!

All the waiting in the world isn't going to get you pregnant if there is something physiologically preventing pregnancy from happening. There is nothing "too soon" about getting a diagnosis. Seeing a specialist does not necessarily mean undergoing treatments.

i have 2 other children and one by my man.....i know i can but its just hard...i know when i O'd i am bding tonight and the next 5 days...i am not going to my obgyn for help i know i can do it...

If you had bothered to read my post I said that there are things you can do, take vitamins, track your cycle etc. I also said that if she is concerned she could go see a specialist (OBGYN) Please make sure you understand what someone is writing about before making comments, I was just telling her what I did and it worked for me. I just find a lot of people get impatient and run for medical intervention when its not necessary, sometimes it just takes longer then you might want.

You advised her to see an OB/GYN, which is not usually the best option for fertility issues.

i have no problem getting pregnant....its just a little bit harder for me
