help with childcare

hello ladies i kind need so understanding on something. i recently finished school now i am looking for employment. Now if i find employment ill have no where to leave my son but daycare and boy is daycare expensive. what i want to know is my sons father is on child support if i try to get help with child care will they be taking out more money out of his check for child care or how does that work? thank you ladies. also how on earth do you post pics here there isnt like a little box thingy that says browse to post pics up. thank you very much and have a great day.  

You would have to go back to court for a CS ammendment. They don't just magically up his child support.

Most of the time they don't order more for child care but its a case by case basis.

oh ok no i didnt want anymore child support i was wondering like if i get help for child care since they require putting the father on child support for help will they take more out his paycheck for childcare if i receive the help thank you though   i appreciate your feed back

They won't take more out of his check but they would take that portion of the CS you get to themselves. Like if you get $500 in CS/month, and they give you $200 in assistance, you would get the $200 in assistance and only $300 of the CS.

No they will take so much if its less then child care they will take it till it paid up even if ur off the help if it more u would get the difference.

I've always been told than in NY, the father is responsible for half of childcare expenses (unless he's below the self-sufficiency/poverty level) and half of medical expenses in addition to his regular child support obligation. Also, there is assistance available from the county and they will pay your childcare provider directly (provided they are licensed or you get them pre-approved). After I had my son and I was going to school, I paid $1/week as a "parent fee" for childcare.
