I am truly curious to see what people think of this part of the story.
If you don't know what I am talking about, a little boy fell into a exhibit of African painted dogs, after his mother put him up on the railing and he was mauled to death

So the poll question is:

Do you think the African painted dogs should be put down? And why do you feel the way you do?

My answer is no, and the reason why is because I think they truly did not know any better, and that they were protecting their environment.

No because then every single one in existance should be put down. They were in an enclosure for a reason, not like out in the open pets who attacked someone.

It's a wild animal, that's what they do. They can't be blamed for the stupidity of the mother. It's 1000% her fault, and I hope she lives with it her whole live.

If my child fell into an exhibit with wild animals you can bet I would be right there after him. Though I am not stupid enough to put my kid up on a railing. I hold him up and if he can't see, oh well. That is what pictures are for.

It will be interesting to see if the people who vote yes say something, but I highly doubt it

Why should they make the family feel better? If they want to make the family feel better charge the mom for involuntary manslaughter and felony injury to a child as well as child endangerment.
