best choice I have EVER made.
I've been using one for almost a year now I think. I am never ever going back to pads/tampons.

I bought one last month.. and I love the concept of it.. but sadly it just didn't work out for me that cycle. I didn't use it this cycle as well, like I said, it just didn't work out the previous time and I've been stressed and not up for tackling new challenges.

I'm going to try again in a month or two though.

The biggest problem for me was slight cramping that followed insertion, awkward dryness, and it leaked..

Emptying it made a mess once ..

The concept is really great though

Don't have the Diva Cup, but I do use the disposable ones and they are GREAT!   Oh, my God. I love it. Best choice I've ever made for that time of the month.

And you can smurf with it in.

The Instead cups?

Meh.. those didn't work out well for me either. WTF is wrong with me, damn it

I want to reap all the benefits of all these new ways of coping with those 4 days of hell, but I fail like a loser. It sucks

They are awesome! But that said do your research for size! Diva cups are the most well known but they are also one of the biggest cups on the market & there are so many kinds and they are available in all different shakes and colors! I LOVE my diva cup though!!

ETA shapes! Lol

Strange you had dryness--tampons dry me out like the damn Sahara and the Cup fixed it!!! In had zero irritation of the vagina and zero leaking.

Sounds Like you just need a little practice inserting it to get it the right height (should fix cramps an leaks)---and practice definitely helps with any mess from emptying! I made a mess one time on my 2nd month using it (first public change) but I carried wipes with me and had it cleaned up in seconds   haven't had a problem since!)

will it work for me if i have a tilted cervix?

And what size would you recommend for me?

22 years old. Had a vaginal birth. But pretty small frame.

My vag is not a gaping hole.

TIA

Yeah it just wasn't a good time for me to start this - my kid was starting school, so I didn't have the luxury of decent morning showers, I'm always in the middle of a call for one reason or other and just blah, I wasn't ready for a lifestyle change or the commitment to it.

I'm pretty sure the Diva Cup could work for me, I just have to get a hang of it.

I don't mind tampons at all, but on my 2 heavy days, it's a murder scene in my underwear if I don't change them every 1.5 hrs. Night time is ..yeah.. not fun. I don't get any sleep on my 2nd day because of this. I'm up changing tampons all the time, I have a sensory thing, and I can't use pads comfortably so meh.

Yeah.   I use the Soft Cup ones.

I'm sorry you've had trouble.   I had trouble with it the first couple of cycles. It was uncomfortable and it leaked (wore pads with it a few times), and I found out, I was just putting it in wrong.   I would do it standing up and I didn't put it in far enough. I got it after practising when I wasn't on the rag and I finally got it to work for me.

Pads make me get chemical burns on my crotch...even for just one day---post pregnancy makes me wish for death!

Tampons make me burn and dry out BADLY and sex hurts for like a week after.

My only option is a cup or sponge---so happy the cup worked for me!

Do you know what really sucks ladies?

I'm going to have my stupid period on my honeymoon.

I'm afraid I didn't have enough practice with any of the cups of use them

We're going to Peru - a lot of bus and train trips, hiking and etc. I'm going to be so miserable   I so wanted the cups to work for me
