Before we found out boy or girl we had a heck of a time picking out girls names!
He likes more traditional or older names, and I am more fond of something slightly different or unique I was so frustrated with his name picks and said there is no way in hell lol!
Finally picked a girls name we both adored And! wait for it........It's a BOY!
LMAO the good part is we just needed to agree on a first name, and so walking out of the hospital like kids in a candy shop looking at our photos we started saying hey- what about Alexander? has a nice nickname goes well with his middle....And just started beaming at each other and hugging haha All the nurses were giggling at us
I would say If you both don't absolutely love it maybe you haven't found the right name? Hubby's are frustrating sometimes, but you know that they are just as excited as you when it comes to being involved in the planning and deciding on your babies future names/blankets/and activities etc. And if you find something that you think would be wonderful and you really like it explain to your hubby why you think so and use it as an example of when you call them by that name and maybe he will see it your way after all
