Eye injury

posted 5th Nov
*I am on hold with the pedi, so if you suggest that, it's already being done right now*

Cora was out walking through leaves and suddenly grabbed her eye and started crying

It bled and looks bloodshot but I couldn't tell where the 2 drops of blood came from

After about 5 minute, she was totally calm and laughing.

She can follow my finger, see things near and far when I cover her eye. No visible swelling. She isn't even playing with it like it hurts or anything now

The Triage Nurse is going to call me back.

What do you all think? (Eye injuries freak me out so I might have over reacted but there was blood and her eye is slightly red)

The triage nurse called back quick

She said to keep an eye on it and wait and see.

Nah, she is fine. You'd know if something was wrong as far as immediate eye injury.

2 little drops that stopped? If you to be dramatic and call that an "injury" cool, but its definitely not doctor worthy. Especially with the rest of the information you provided. This is supposed to reassure you and make you feel better! You know how you tend to overreact and freak out... /
