Lost my voice! How to get it back?

Well, yes  
Anyone have any home remedies that they KNOW work well/fast?

The last time i lost my voice was two years ago and i NEEDED it back by the next day. spent the day not talking & drinking...something warm with honey, i think? and it worked. but, i have no honey & don't wanna drive out in the pouring rain with baby girl to get any right now  

Soooo any other ideas?
I don't even have like, old man frog voice, it's just...gone.

Herbal tea and lots of honey!

Oh i read that too, my only problem is i have people over here in about 20 minutes, until this afternoon, and then someone else here from like 3-8   Company-wise, horrible day to lose my voice, haha.
