Hello ladies,
I would seek your opinion on the u/s(10.5 weeks, abdominal) image whether placenta is located on the right or left side of uterus. It will be great if you may guess gender of my baby.

My placenta was on the right, I had a girl.

Where is the picture?

It's opposite on abdominal.

Left side is supposedly girl, right side is supposedly boy.

Lol, I am pregnant with my 3rd and never heard of this i wish i knew what side my placenta was on

Oh yeah and I think it only counts if you saw it before 9 weeks.

Well, I read in Ramzi's essay that placenta remains where it implants until 12 weeks... just trying to have some fun by guessing baby's gender. Since it is the first, we will be happy with a girl or boy.

Yeah you just can't tell where it is in the picture. I guess the u/s tech would have been able to tell you if you'd asked.

She was quite unsure. On the pic it is on the left corner which implies its location to be just opposite... not sure just guessing

Was it also abdominal, or trans vag. and you got it done before 11th week?

It doesn't work after nine weeks I believe.. That or eight weeks

My son was on my right side and this one on the left side.. Both transvaginally

If its an external (abdominal) ultrasound it is a mirrored image. So boys would be on left and girls on right..
And the theory you are referring to is Ramzis Theory

True, it is an external/transabdominal, so the should be on the right side of uterus. But, I do not understand why the theory should work till 7-8 weeks and not for 11 week u/s. Anyways, thanks for your response.
