Because the baby moves to the center of the uterus after that.. for example in your ultrasound the baby is already is the center.. and the placenta usually moves as well. Google a six or seven week ultrasound, it's very easy to detect which side it implanted on.
When are you due? It's ultrasound says it was done in May?

Thanks. If baby is in the center, and supposing it has moved, then it certainly did not move from left uterus to the center as you could see from the whiteness on the scan. If I consider 19.5 week scan, which shows three lines and the poll-result here on this forum, I am eqaully hopeful for a baby girl.
