Need info on Decidual bleeding/ 1st trimester bleeding!

Nobody replied to my last post, but I need to know any info anybody has on decidual bleeding either based off of personal experience or if it's happened to somebody you know. How can you tell the difference between period & decidual bleeding?

From what I know, decidual bleeding is very very clotty (don't think that's a word but describes it the best) So unless your period is very clotty then I would say it's decidual bleeding. If you know you're pregnant I would say that's what it is. If you aren't then I'm guessing it's your period. Take a pregnancy test to find out!

I had some bleeding during my first trimester it's hard to say what it was from because I also had a bladder infection everything turned out great I'm due in 2.5 weeks

I read that decidual bleeding can almost mimic a period and come at the same time because the hormonal imbalance or something. I also read it can make tests come up negative   My period came a day late, which isn't major, but along with the symptoms I've been getting plus the fact that it only lasted 3 days (2 moderate flow days + 1day of rusty brown color) is strange considering mine usually last a full 5-6 days.

How was the bleeding? & did it affect the pregnancy test or anything?

No it didn't affect anything but I was a little scared as you can see I had lost two babies before but no everything was fine if you are really scared or worried talk to your dr it will set your mind at ease
