What was your most used baby item? Or top of the must have list? I feel like were missing things and even though this is our second for some odd reason I feel as though I was more prepared for our son.

A carseat with a base that stays in the car, it's so much easier then pissing around with a seatbelt every time you have to go out, you just click it in and go. Also a change table, we couldnt use it for long because DD was rolling early but at the beginning it is a huge back saver, especially if you end up having a c-section, id imagine.

Besides the basics?
Her Boppy!
From recovering from my C-Section, to having a place for her to nap while I was doing chores when she was a newborn (while checking on her of course, we never used it as a "true" sleep positioner), to using it to help her learn to crawl and now as a new toddler she uses it as HER pillow because it's a comfort thing. She adores it, and I adored using it when she was a baby baby.

Wish I would have had the boppy from the start, swing, plenty of swaddle blanket, and lots of easy to throw on onesie.

Change table.
It's the one thing that people told us would be the biggest waste of money. They all said you just change baby where ever you are. Nope, I never have. I always take them in there and change it on the change table. Now that our oldest is out of nappies (diapers) he only uses it now for after baths at night when we are getting him dressed for bed. Occasionally we will dress him for the day on the table too. He's nearly 3. We've had to replace the cover 3x now because of how much we use it. Best thing ever, and helped even more in the early days after my c-sections.

Just personally, I found the swings a total waste of money, with my last 2 babies. They both hated it. I wouldn't buy one again if we have anther baby.
Depending on how old you oldest child is, I have a play pen after having a moan on here about how I couldn't leave te baby around my toddler to do simple house business, someone told me to get a playpen to put one of them in so he baby can't get hurt. I didn't think of that myself!

Bouncy seat! Both my daughters loved the vibrating ones, it helped their gas. If I'd had a moby wrap, I'd probably have used the bouncy seat less, though, to be honest. I have one this time and I'm super excited to use it

My LO hates her playpen and I dont blame her, the biggest one I could find was like a square meter. I just put a guard up by the stereo and plastic safety things in the power points and she can go where she wants.

Definitely the bouncy chair... Swing has been a lifesaver too. Change table was a waste. Even with 2 csections; I never use it. My oldest we used for maybe a month or 2 when he transitioned to his room. My youngest---I haven't used it once. It's just a dumping grounds!
