there is nothing wrong with wanting to know what is going on with your body. if you are pregnant, yay! and you can start taking prenatals and all that fun stuff for pregnancy. if it comes back negative, like someone else mentioned, you will know to allow extra time next month for the chance that your cycles are changing. good luck tomorrow.

I've been on prenatals and 4mg of folic acid for 6 months already because of my epilepsy and sleeping pills. Helps me feels better. (Yes, 4mg. When the normal dose is .04 I believe? It's prescription.)

I say, keep your appointment and ease your mind either way. You're already late, so its not like you're jumping the gun. And I've heard on here that some people don't get a bfp on home pregnancy tests for weeks.

Right?! It's not like I lose. Either Im not and I start my period. Or I am pregnant and the blood test tells me what the hpt couldn't.

Good luck with your apointment mama I hope you get a BFP! I think you made the right choice going to get a blood test. The sooner to know the better and your just one of those women that don't have luck with home pregnancy test. Lol Baby Dust!!

Update: Went in for my blood test. If the blood test comes back negative hes gonna restart my cycle. I'll take a hormone pill for 10 days. Then I'll bleed and my cycle will restart, day 1 being the day I start bleeding. So I'll know in a few days when the results come back. He says he thinks its weird too for me to be so late. So either my period will show up before the test comes back negative and itll be whatever, or it'll come back negative and well do a 10 day hormone replacement to restart my cycle since its all smurfed up if it is negative, or it'll come back positive and I'm pregnant. Just gotta wait and see.
