I personally like K names better. I wanted to name my son Kameron. Hubs wanted Cameron and he won. I like Karla better.

Also, it's probably just because I'm Canadian, but Karla reminds me of Karla Homolka - a serial killer who worked with her husband to rape, murder and dismember several girls. She "gave" him her little sister to rape...

Usually I really hate trendy names (Being a "K" name myself I've gone my whole life fixing papers and correcting people on spelling) but in honour of someone, I think it's okay. It's a nice name in itself.

Oh man, what's your name if you don't mind me asking? My moms name is Tanual. Imagine that! And her name on all of her stuff is Tannal and now she has to go through a smurf ton of bs to get her name changed back to what it really is. ):

I love the name Carla, especially paired with Jean....it has a nice ring to it.

Thank you! I really wanted a name with meaning and any name that was brought up the SO was not going for! I'm soooo glad he liked this one because its definitely the best we picked! My grandpa and my grandma have been everything to me! So ironic I'm having a lady bug themed baby shower and just before my grandpa passed he bought my grandma a lady bug ankle bracelet so she is sending it to me. I'm so thankful for that! Too sweet!
