I'm considering buying a used medela pump in style. It was purchased in 2008. What new parts would I need? Are those parts still available 4 years later?
No, I'm not pregnant I wish I was. BUT I want to be breastfeeding my next baby and it's a really good deal. I can't pass up cheap/free stuff.
My bestfriend is going to be done using her medela a few months before i deliver and is giving me hers all I bought was a new breastshield w/ valve, and the membranes.
Is it a hospital grade pump? If not I wouldnt buy it. Since you're not pregnant yet just save up and get a really good one or a used hosptial grade one.
I wouldn't. There are two types of pumps, open and closed system. Typically OTC pumps are not a closed system so they can transmit disease. Unless you know the person personally and trust them like a close friend or family member I would not do it.
