depend underwear

Did any of you use depend disposables instead of those mattress pads? Heard it helps prevent accidents 100 times better. Especially since I'm planning a home birth I don't want to stain multiple items lol

What are you using it for? I had a homebirth recently and only my sheets were throw away, but nothing else was stained.

I used them for 2 days. By that time my bleeding slowed enough to just used "Always Infinity". I loved those.

I kinda want to get some for the first few days after having the baby. I think there would be less of a bulge through my pants with those.

Oh, duh. For the postpartum bleeding. Gah, I need to go to bed.

I used cloth postpartum pads, they work sooooo well.

When I was at the hospital I didn't wear jeans or anything that made the bulge look visible. I know it's for home birth but I seriously wore comfies all day long until I could wear regular pads... 2 days later. I wore the huge pad they gave me for only an hour or so. Then changed to depends just more for the comfort.

I tried them because I had some free samples. They were kind of itchy and slow to absorb. The Always super long overnights worked 1000x better.

I used them for my last 2 births. They are not uncomfy or itchy at all IMO. Plus I feel fresher being able to completely change my panties/pad at the same time. Also, I didn't have any leaks with them, I always had to replace the pad that would leak and the "panties" are easy to don/doff.
