Back spasms??

posted 4th Nov
Having back spasms every 20 sec. -2 mins right now.. It's just on my right side. I'm 38w +6 days today... Anyone else experience this? I've had back labor before, but this doesn't feel like back labor & I'm not having contractions with the pain. Don't know how to make it stop

I have sciatic nerve pain that shoots down my leg and causes my back to spasm and sometimes i can't move my legs or it feels like my back is going to break. it might be where baby is laying on a nerve causing the spasms.

Hmm.. maybe. I didn't know that caused back spasms too   I don't have the other problems that come with baby being on the sciatic nerve, though... Thanks!

I just made DH rub that spot, then I walked around for awhile. They seemed to go away on there own... Not sure what caused it, though.

I remembered earlier I had them a couple weeks ago on the same side, when I was trying to fall asleep. I had DH rub that spot & it went away right away... Might help if you rub it yourself, or maybe if you put heat on it.
