since i got pregnant i lost 10 lbs and gained 2 lbs and im 25 weeks come thursday. so ya i think that is pretty good compared to me.

Us tall women seem to hide weight easily... It's nice lol! Are you showing yet? I started noticing a small belly at 20 weeks now at 23 I definitely look pregnant! I still fit into my pre pregnancy jeans as well, but don't surrender to maternity jeans yet, go buy a belly band fromTarget! They are about 15 bucks and they helps hold your pre pregnancy jeans up unbuttoned, I never bought one with my first but did this time around, it's nice!

lol Yes it is. My mom is 5'3 and if she puts on 10 pounds its kind of obvious. I just started to show probably within like the last 3 weeks. I went from looking I had big meal to defiantly pregnant but it really depends on my outfit...I'm sure some mite just think I went to the buffet. lol Im so excited to finally be showing, felt like it took forever. My husband is mexican and they are very short so they show like immediately and the ongoing joke is that my babies grow standing up.
Ill dig out my belly bands from my last pregnancy. Good idea ;) The only thing I don't like about belly bands is they always roll on me because of my hips. =(

That's one bonus about being tall, before pregnancy I weighted between 140 and 145 and people would guess my weight and say 115 120? I'm like seriously? I haven't weighted 120 since I was little lol. That's exactly what I looked like for so long like I just went and pigged out at a buffet haha. And it does depend on what I'm wearing as well, I could possibly still wear a couple loose shirts and not look pregnant at all. But I really wish my belly would grow more, I want to look more pregnant than just feel fat! Lol my husband on the other hand is very tall he's 6'2" and I'm 5'10" so our 4 year old daughter is soo tall for her age. In a way I feel bad for her cause I hated being the tall one as a kid!

I have the same problem with this band I have, it's pretty annoying!

I went in for my appointment on Monday and I gained 6 more pounds in a month! I was shocked lol. So I am up 15lbs now. But my doctor hasn't said anything. I remember with my daughter I had an appointment I went up 8lbs within a month and I know it was somewhere in my second trimester. I am now 24 weeks and I know my weight with my daughter slowed down in my third trimester hopefully it does this time too!

lol Yaaa I weighed myself today and I put on another couple pounds. I guess I just need to accept that its going to happen. ;) I hope my weight slows down in the third trimester as well...not sure how likely that is though.

At least it's just a couple not a few lol! My weights slowed down in the third with my first, I hope it does this time... Most people say they put on the most during the third though! Haha. I guessi can't be too shocked about gaining 6 more in a month cause I have been craving sweets a lot and eating a lot of them! So I am watching what I eat after that, no more sweets... Well not as much lol

lol It was Halloween we should be blaming...lucky us with our pregnancies landing through the holidays. SOOO MUCH FOOD! lol

Oh my gosh, yeah I so blame the Halloween candy.... Haha I ate sooo much of it. That's one thing that sucks we get to be pregnant during the holidays, thanksgiving I am sure I'll gain 5lbs lol! I might be surprised at my next appointment again, it's a couple weeks after thanksgiving. Ive been trying to not eat as much during the day cause I was eating about every 2 hours and I'd constantly snack plus I was drinking tons of orange juice and apple juice.

I went from 95lbs (unhealthy habits and never eating) to 175 with my soon lmao, and being only 4'10", I'm trying to avoid that large of a weight gain again! Thankfully so far, my pre pregnancy weight was 135, and I'm at 152 or so now (28 weeks) so, I'm doing better. My midwife & doctor both said so long as I breastfeed, the weight comes off faster after birth. I'd like to get to a healthy 115 and stay there haha. Fingers crossed!
