I like Ryan for a girl, but I would keep it spelt that way, for sure

Quoting Just Andria:" I think Ryan is cute for a girl. In fact we almsot name one of my daughters Ryan. I would leave it as ... [snip!] ... it as is imo. I think when you start changing that name up it will look more like the name should be pronounce Re-ann or Rain."

THAT is exactly what I want to avoid.

I like Ryan the way it is. Imo raiann would be pronounced ray-ann. I guess just because I have a Hailee and its Hay-lee and not hi-lee if that makes sense.

Anyway my point is there is no reason to butcher the name, it looks fine as is. ;)

I would leave the spelling alone. It's cute. I have a female friend named ryan, it suits her.

lol...Then don't change it! It's already a cute name as is. Why ruin a good thing?

Rye-ann just makes me think wtf lol I wouldn't even pronounce it the same as Ryan.
I'm really not a fan if changing spelling but I think the rhyan suggestion is kind of ok... I would just leave it Ryan though. Changing one letter is acceptable IMO in most cases, anything more than 1 letter is too hard to read.

Raianne looks like "ray-ann"
Ryanne
Ryhan
both soften it up, whatever you do, if you don't spell it Ryan you're going to correct spellings all the time. I'm constantly seeing people spell my son's name wrong (Nickolai) doesn't bother me, people spell my name wrong, too, doesn't bother me.

you cannot femminize a male name with out castrating it.

Do your daughter justice and find a name that is meant for a girl and not a boy. It's not cute.

Rhiannon.

Its a unisex name, btw.

Oh but since Kelly is a boys name, people should quit using it for girls, what about the name Shannon also a boys name or Kim the list can go on and on and on.
