breast feeding in church?

SO and I were on our way to church this morning and on our way out the door we got into a debate on breast feeding during mass. We are catholic but I want to know what you ladies think? Is it ok? Covered or uncovered? Or should you just bottle feed while you are there?
IMO I don't see a problem with breast feeding there because it is natural. I would cover of course but I only have enough of a supply to feed DD. There's just not enough in there to pump too lol.

Feed there. Why wouldn't you? I'm sure Jesus was breastfed....  

I think it's fine as long as you cover up and are descreet

I think you should be able to BF however you want...

I don't see a problem. It is feeding your baby. No different than bottle feeding. You can breast feed without covering and not show anything. No big deal

I would feed with a blanket covering me. There is nothing wrong with bf in church.

I don't care where I am my kid is if they are hungry I'm going to feed them. If someone chooses to stare at my tit while I do so, then by all means it's their choice, but boobs were made for feeding, so if they take it in a sexual or inappropriate way then tsk tsk on them

So whatever you are comfortable with.

the way i see it breastfeeding is a natural thing so why not do it in church? its not as if your stripping naked and skipping down the aisles. i bf anywhere, just use a cover when appropiate.  

Feed your child however you feel comfortable doing so!

I would and I wouldn't cover either. My daughter hated being covered and I don't see why church should be treated any differently. God made boobs to feed babies.

I personally think it is fine, but I can see how some people might be idiots and complain. I would do it anyways, but thats just me  

My church has a couch for BF moms so that is were the ladies in my church do it at.

Breast feeding is natural no matter where you are. If someone gets mad or says something just ignore them. What do they want you to do starve your child?? Your the mom not them, they will be alright.

I don't see how church is any different than anywhere else when it comes to nursing.
I nurse my daughter in church.
I always cover myself with a muslin blanket, in or out of church.

We have a special baby care room with speakers we use. I'm the only breastfeeding mother right now though.
