I think my head may explode.

DS brought the laundry hamper into the living room and was playing with it. I told him to get off and I put it back by the washer and dryer. As I'm walking to the back, he's running all around me and grabs the hamper. I pull his arm off and yank it because he's holding onto it so tightly. He then throws himself to the ground and sits there pouting.

DS: "Mom, why are being so mean?"
Me: "How am I being mean?"
DS: "You threw me on the ground".
Me: "Really dude? All I did was take your arm off the basket. You threw yourself on the ground like a baby."
DS: "So why are you being so mean???"

This conversation went on for about 3 more minutes before I sent him to his room because I was about to lose my smurf. If you read the conversation that I typed about 5 more times, that's how it went.

I've been trying to do my homework all morning and all I asked him to do was chill out for a bit. It isn't happening.

My husband works again tonight, so he is sleeping. My kids are running through the house, screaming, roaring at each other, running back the other way, hitting the walls with toys. I feel your pain. I am short tempered now. They are sitting down now and watching Disney channel.

My husband is asleep since he works nights. My daughter is watching Dora and being completely quiet. I wish her brother would follow suit.

I understand. I looked at my son this morning and said "If we were birds, you'd be the chick that I'd push out of the nest."

He's got a TON of spirit and he's 100x more difficult then Teagan ever was.
