Glad to see so many easy going people. I've worked retail for 10 years and have been yelled at several times for saying merry Christmas and happy thanksgiving. It just seems like such a strange thing to get upset over.

I've always said happy holidays, but not in fear of offending anyone. I'm just lazy and throw everything into one.  

I dont like when people tell me "Happy Holidays." I never know which holiday they are talking about. I mean...it could mean Happy Valentine's day or Happy Columbus Day. I'd rather them just not say anything. lol

I'm an atheist, and whatever someone says to me, like "Have a Merry Christmas!", I just say, "you too!", just like when they say "Have a nice day."

I'm not offended, but I won't say it back or say it unprompted.

I'm more of a "You too"-er. Sometimes if they're being really forceful, I'll look them dead in the eye and say, "Happy Holidays," just to be contrary.

But in general I don't say anything. I just say, "have a good evening."

I don't say it, but it doesn't offend me. I rarely hear it around here anyway.

It's not offensive to me, but I don't say it. As long as people don't get offended when I wish them a Happy Diwali, I don't care.

I hate retail around Christmas time. I would wish someone a happy holiday and they would go off about how stupid it is that I can't just say merry Christmas even though the whole store is decked out with Christmas decorations, I say Merry Christmas and someone gets offended because they don't celebrate Christmas.

And see, that wouldn't offend me at all. I don't celebrate it, but the spirit is the same.
