TTC a little girl

Have any of you ladies bought a book on how to TTC a certain sex? Did it work? I know two people who said it did but it just seems fishy to me. What books did you buy? Or is there any good websites with information? Every website I found didn't give to much detail. Any positive comments would help. Thanks ladies.

Good luck but honestly I don't think there is much you can do, it depends on the male's sperm and which one gets to the egg first. There are a bunch of wives tales but that is the same as trying to predict gender...they are usually 50/50 lol

There is no way to make sure a sperm with an X chromosome will fertilize your egg Lol. That is all wives tales.

My last pregnancy we had sex only on the day I felt myself ovulate, and we got pregnant with a boy. Which is what we wanted. We unfortunately lost him. I'm now pregnant again, and did it the same way, had sex only on the day I felt myself ovulate and I'm 23 weeks pregnant with a boy.

I can't say obviously if that is what actually made us get pregnant with a boy, but supposedly it is the way. I guess to have a girl they say to have sex in the early days of your fertile week and or after you ovulate.

I still believe it is only a 50/50 chance either way though.

Look into the Shettles method.

Research suggests that girl sperm live longer but don't swim as fast. Boy sperm swim fast but don't live as long. I think its the shettles method that's says if u want a boy have sex closer to ovulation. I have no idea how accurate this is though.

That's what I've read too. If you have sex a couple days BEFORE ovulation you're more likely to have a girl because the girl spermies can last longer, and the boy spermies are fast so they'll get there before you actually ovulate but won't live long enough to still be there when you do ovulate. Also something about the foods you eat, one of them thrives in a more acidic environment or something.

I read online doggy style gives you a boy and missionary gives you a girl. It said the boy sperm is fast but weak so if you get them in deeper they will get to the egg before they die. Girl sperm is slow but strong so if you release not so far in the boys will die and the girls will make it. Of course this isn't for sure and a total wives tale but we did and got our boy. We also made sure that hubby finished while in doggy style position. Maybe it does help.

I've got pregnant with both boys while doing missionary :/ maybe I just can't produce girls

My periods are always different so I don't know when I ovulate exactly. I guess I'll be buying the ovulation sticks.

Just for fun, do the chinese gender calendar and see what months you would conceive a girl
